About
Carolina Modenessy graduated from New York University in January 2009 with a Master of Arts in Graphic Communications Management & Technology. She has created design solutions and provided thought leadership for the development of multiple print and digital projects throughout her professional and academic careers.
Currently, Carolina works as a Web/Graphic Designer at New York University's
Wasserman Center for Career Development. Before moving to New York City for
graduate school, Carolina Modenessy worked as Design & Production Specialist at
Hardin-Simmons University in Texas where she provided creative and production
leadership for various local and national promotional campaigns. In 2006, she
received a Gold Addy Award for one such student recruiting campaign titled “My Life” from the local advertising club.
More recently, Carolina completed a Digital Media Internship at NBC Universal where she developed user interface ideas and layouts. Specifically, she contributed largely to the branding and laid the groundwork for the style guidelines for a NBC-owned travel site.
Carolina is passionate about innovation in both print and online media. Her
background is in print design, yet she loves website design and is keen to
touch upon any form of design, including motion graphics. As a recent grad
and working professional, Carolina is always looking for a means to lead and
advance in the ever changing communications industry landscape.
